With players such as RB Correll Buckhalter (28) and WR DeSean Jackson providing key contributions, the Eagles' offense is boasting newfound depth and explosiveness. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?id=3604294 Best news? Westbrook should be suiting up this Sunday against the Bears! Anyways, I'm very impressed by this team. When Kevin Curtis went down, I thought we were screwed. When Reggie Brown also went down, I started wondering why the Eagles are cursed. And when Westbrook AND McNabb went down, I thought we were utterly screwed. Fortunately for us, other players have stepped up in absence of the starters. Honestly, I haven't even noticed our two starting receivers haven't been playing. Jackson, Baskett, and Avant have really stepped up. Buckhalter did a mighty fine job in place of Westbrook last Sunday (although the offense did struggle), and McNabb, like he always has, showed a lot of heart coming back into the game with a hurt shoulder. In summary, I'm proud of this team, and I'm very interested in seeing how well we will perform at full strength.
McNabb thrives in a vertical passing attack. He isn't all that good at dinking and dunking his way down the field. He needs to go vertical. Jackson is a WR who is very good at going vertical. Its a perfect match.
