I've been thinking of getting it for the Wii...my only issue is I haven't read much in the way of positive reviews of it. It sounds like it'd be fun (and I was greatly entertained by the 360 demo), but it also sounds like it's bugged to all hell, which is kind of a turn-off for me. I'm not sure to be honest, but it sounds like more of a rental than a purchase, especially considering it sounds beatable in rougly 6-8 hours.

Anyone else play this yet? I recently rented it for the Wii, and it's incredibly fun. The Wii controls, at least I think, make the experience much more entertaining than it's PS3 or 360 counterparts. I'm still not sure if it's going to be worth a purchase, but at the least, it's been a damn good rental.

I totally have another thread about this...BUDDY!

I hear the Wii version is fun because you can do multi-player duels. That sounds fun. Overall the story is great, but regrettably too short. I love it, haven't finished it yet because my ps3 isn't reading any discs I put in it now....anyone know how I can fix that?

BTW I have the ps3 version in case that was up for speculation.

Hmm...I definitely looked for another thread about this and didn't see one. I guess I didn't look hard enough.

And like magic, the threads are merged. If I wasn't an idiot and looked a little harder...I 'spose that merging these threads would have been totally unnecessary since you know, mine wouldn't have existed. Oh well...

So yea, I beat the game tonight. I'm glad I rented instead of purchased, cause it only took me 8 hours. It was entertaining though, however, now that I've beaten and seen how the story ends, I can't foresee myself wanting to play it again.

I will say though, this would be a very good movie if they ever needed material for another Star Wars movie. The story was great in it, at least in my opinion.

Alot of the Star Wars games make great movies. Like, KOTOR 1 and 2 would be entertaining as hell if they omitted a bunch of those side quests that make it a game. But if they took the raw story and characters, it would be excellent.

To be honest, I've never actually played the KOTOR games. I'm not all about turn based RPGs, and that's what they mostly fall in to. While I love having a good story in a game, the gameplay is more important to me, and aside from Pokemon games, I've never been one to play turn based RPGs.

It's not turn based....rent it! Although on a 360 it might be choppy, but then again I have a dirtier XBOX and CD. It's not like the Final Fantasy games in terms of fighting.

Meh, I've heard/read it's at least SOMEWHAT turn-based, which is a total turnoff for me. Turnbased = boring, even if it's only somewhat turnbased, so I'll still have to pass on it. Plus, at the moment, my 360 is out of commission. I got the red ring of death recently, so I'm now waiting for UPS to deliver me a box, that way I can ship it out and get it fixed.

Well, the issue with playing them at the moment is that my 360 is dead. Plus, I don't have Live, so I wouldn't be able to get the patches so I could actually play the games.

Really? Cause I played it on my 360 and I don't have Live and it worked....I was playing KOTOR 1 like 2 months ago.

Hmm...I always thought that you had to download patches in order to play regular XBox games on a 360. I could be wrong though, but as it is, I'm still 360-less for at least another few weeks. I just hope to have it back by the time Fallout 3 comes out.

I think there are patches, but only for some games.

Cause I need to download a patch to play Lord of the Rings: Third Age, but I didn't need one for KOTOR. But I still played Third Age by busting out my XBOX.

A lot of original xbox games have patches that are pre-loaded on your 360.
