    How Much Time Does Carter Have in New Jersey?

    <small>September 25, 2008, 6:57 pm</small> Vince Carter says he has bought into the Nets rebuilding effort. Kiki Vandeweghe says he believes VC is cool with it all, but writers and pundits keep harping on Carter’s “ETD” — estimated time of departure. SI’s Steve Aschburner is the latest, calling Carter’s status with the Nets one of the “Burning Questions in the East”. He writes “Trading Carter for whatever president Rod Thorn can get would be preferable in a dreary season to watching Vince mentor”.

    I think Vince will be here until Thorn/Ratner can get a good deal for him, which could be at the trade deadline.

    This is Vince's kind of team.
