This only gives teams that play us tough (Celtics, Trailblazers, hell even the Bobcats) more fuel to their fire.
Hah that reminds me, we really do need to crush the Bobcats next year. We always have the craziest games against them (we get torched by their Forwards and struggle).
Weak teams always give us more trouble than the better ones. Don't ask me why. But the recurring trend so far has been us talking up a big game against Phoenix of past or San Antonio and we'd win big. Then we would play the Bobcats, say that we can beat them, then they go and take us to overtime.
If they can stay healthy then it should be a great rematch against the Celtics. But Im confident on the Lakers to pull it off even with injuries.
They'll have to come up with a new one, otherwise we could see a league without a salary cap, or, even worse, a strike. As for the Lakers chances, I'd have to agree that they should be the favorites to win. They're going to have a healthy Bynum, giving them one of the best frontcourts in the league. Plus, you KNOW Kobe is going to be more motivated then ever after having come so close last year, only to not get it.
