Absolutely loving this game. The Arena looks sharper and Cleaner and the new Skills and improved graphics are intense. Put my Pre-order in after i first played the demo :D

A Little. No where near the speed of PES but it's getting better.

Same. Do you have a 360?

Lol thats the only reason i got a 360. but it depends on how far your 360 is from your Router. If its a matter of only a 5m Ethernet cable then that'll cost you like £5 but if like me your 360 is at the other end of the house from the router then i got a wireless adapter. But i was lucky i got mine for free. My uncle traded his 360 in for a PS3 and he gave me all his games and his wireless Adapter for Free :D:D:D

Nice man. You're lucky. I've got a pretty good internet connection here.

Yeh well I'd recommend a Wireless adapter but they are Bloody expensive about £50 ($2000)

Yeah, one too many zeros I think. Hehe.

I have enough for that, but it just isn't worth it. I play the PC ten times more than my Xbox.

I'm impressed with the demo (PS3) but there are a couple of flaws, so I hope this isn't quite the finished article. The keepers have questionable IQ - I've seen the, not attempt to save the ball a couple of times, conceding as a result. Also there are some collisions where players run into each other that wouldn't result in them falling flat on their arses in real life, but they do in-game. This means that they lose possession immediately. Finally, they are not quick to react to loose balls, whether they lost possession, it is just near them or they missed their kick. It's annoying as hell as you sit and watch them stand and watch the ball with no control over them.

It's getting there, though, and I'll definitely buy it.

Yeh I've noticed this too but as you said it's not the Finished Article. I love the Arena especially when a game is loaded and you play in the stadium and its full of the Fans

I'll stick with PES this year. The new FIFA's manager mode will have the same "everything." That means even the same questions and texts. How boring. I also don't get the interest in the game's licensing when hardly any of the teams have correct kits and only 5% of the clubs have their actual GK kits. The rest have a basic grey or red one. That's so weak. The whole running on rails game play is just not in my interest.

I'll probably buy both. I was always on the PES boat up until Fifa 08 vs. PES 2008. PES 2008 was good but just didn't change at all IMO

I tried the demo and did not like how players move and the speed of the game at all... It seemed worse than fifa 08 imo. Graphics are better though

I have a love/hate relationship with Fifa 08. I like some aspects of the game and hate others, as M21 alluded to with the "on rails" comment. I'm on the fence whether to buy 09 or not.

Other than The Premiership and Champions' League, does anyone know what other leagues are available in PES?

I don't like it that much as the players are similar to the super thin fifa STREET 3 players. But then again I have bought fifa since I was 8 in 2002.

    Playing as Madrid v Chelsea.
In control of Sergio Ramos, Drogba runs into the penalty area, I sprint after him, run into Pepe who is standing around doing nothing outside the area, both players fall over and Madrid get a penalty "WTF, gotta see the replay" Replay is shown of Ramos running into Pepe and mr. commentator guy says "clear foul there"
So I look at the manual replay and Drogba shoots and hits the post and then the pen is given. What the epic fuck????!!!!!!
