I know PDX is the town of Bicycles. So.... anyone have a good reco on a cover for keeping my bike outside? Do those work? I have a trek mountain bike and don't want to keep it inside anymore since it looks messy.
http://www.brookstone.com/sl/product/2260-bicycle-cover.html i tend not to trust shit from brookstone though.
Shouldn't bicyclists be required to have insurance? If they run into your car and its their fault how do you make them pay? Your insurance shouldn't have to.
funny. last year we had a bus stopped by a psycho biker who cut in front of him and started screaming at the driver. A passenger got out and beat the crap out of him and then he sued trimet.
to me, a bunch of bikers are bigger assholes than drivers because they think they're holier than thou for biking to work.
Agreed. On Friday, a whole biker gang got on the freeway and spread out their bikes and cruised at 50mph with no car really wanting to get close to them cause of how much of the freeway they blocked and how randomly they would cut people off. 50mph on a California freeway during non-traffic time is unacceptable. No traffic for me = MINIMUM of 80mph. I was angry lol
There's a bar about 10 blocks north of where I live when I'm in Denver that has become a "Wild Hogs"-like biker hangout. Losers going through a mid-life crisis who want to believe they're Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper. They come down our residential street blowing through stop signs doing about 40-50 mph so they can hear how loud their bikes are. Two days ago I had the great pleasure of having one of my cars parked out on the street just when a biker was coming up behind me. I pulled out in front of the bike (not at a dangerous distance), put my SUV right in the middle of the road and proceeded to do about 10 mph until we hit the cross street. I thoroughly enjoyed watching that loser almost dump his bike because he couldn't control it at that speed.
