    Personally, I think the guy should do the asking out, the proposal, the driving, the dinner paying (this one is lax cause once you get older, you share, or she cooks :D).

    But I also don't think it's wrong. But be careful of that money lol.

    Read the blog. His girlfriend didn't technically ask him. He asked her. He wrote on a piece of paper "READ OUT LOUD" "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" So when she read it out loud in front of her family/friends it sounded as if she was asking him. But he asked her if u think about it in the big picture. He had never asked a girl out in his life and he wanted to keep that streak going so he asked in a way in which he isn't directly asking her. LOL! Gilbert's a funny guy. Read the blog, it's funny how he setup the whole thing. Great guy!
