Roy already scrimmaging?

    I was watching KATU channel 2 6:30 news last night and they had an interview with Roy about his impression of Rudy. Roy said this is the first time he has scrimmaged with Rudy and thought he was really active and if he can do this all season will be really great for the Blazers.

    I didn't think Roy was scrimmaging yet? Maybe I misunderstood and he said it was the first time he has seem Rudy scrimmage.

    I heard he was scrimmaging already as well. Apparently he is well ahead of schedule in his rehab from surgery. I've also heard that Frye could be ready for the season opener.

    it's been 6 weeks or so since he had surgery, and it was apparently a 4 week recovery. I never quite understood the talk about him missing or being held out of preseason.
