I got kicked out of an A's game...because I was drunk off my ass with my buddy, we decided to go to the worst seats possible where there was nobody around by at least 200 feet. It was hot so I decided to chill in boxers and shirt, and have a cig...I was kicked out shortly after.
The best people to talk shit with are the fucking Brits. I was at a Tyson fight were he fought Frank Bruno...those brits were going around Vegas all weekend talking shit, booed the national anthem (LOUDLY too), etc......the whole time was just insane the amount of shit talking between Americans and Brits. We won of course so we had first right of shit talking leaving the arena.
That's why NY's public transportation dominates. Subways, baby. No excuses. Get as F'd up as you like. At least that's what I thought. Keep talking that shit down there. I'd love to get kicked out of Staples for talking shit. I'm sure, of course, that a fight would break out long before I could formally get kicked out. Thug ass Laker fans. Can't take a joke!
beat downs happen walking down Fig. It sucks cuz staples is like a 20 minute drive on the freeway from me...can't drive faded on the 110! no where to chill and sober up downtown either.
I've spent a good amount of time in NY and LA, and it's not even close - the people in NY are twice as nice, and twice as classy (not to mention infinitely more interesting) than those in LA. That surprised me. At least in my own experiences this is true. I love NY. Not so much LA.
I was once chucked from Wrigley's right field bleachers. I had a flask that was very important to me, and the security guard tried to confiscate it. I asked what would happen if I didn't want to give it up and he said, "then I'm going to have to toss you". I said to go ahead. The funny part came when we were heading down the ramp and he asked me for a pull of my bourbon.
We've now got 15,624 posts, which moves us into the top half of the league (past Suns, Twolves, Pistons, and Mavs. since the last update). Appears we are averaging ~650 posts per day. At that rate, we should be in the top ten in about 10 days, and we should be at 100,000 by the all-star break. Of course, posting rate will probably go up when the season starts. FWIW. I know a lot of people think this is stupid, and I sort of agree, but I like numbers. And turtles. barfo
Why do they keep track of how many FGA a player takes? Because it's just a stat, interesting to know and talk about.
This happened on other forums before... Blazers take a lead, Nets catch up until they are disinterested. Don't wake the sleeping monster! Lucky we got Yi, and we'll have Chinese posters to recruit. Might see lots of 'Carter vs Yi threads'... -Petey
about 400 posts till we hit 100,000 as a forum then only a couple of months till the Nets are dusted , then only NBA General left
At what point after that does the site have it's database hacked, we lose all of our passwords and have to reset them every 30 days and Global Mods turn in to Nazis and we all migrate to a new forum?
