    Trade him.

At this point, we don't need any bad attitudes on the team.
Trade him for someone whose dedicated to winning at any cost.

Odom is the devil! (Adam Sandler's mom from waterboy)

Anyway, how about trading Odom (expiring, some Laker fans say he won't work out at SF) for Szerbiack (expiring and is a natural SF) if Odom is such a terrible guy lol.

Agreed, he's not even a cancer or anything he just hasn't handled things in the best fashion.

Are you serious or sarcastically proving the point that there arent really any better options available?

The same can be said for Phil, though. I know he uses weird ways to motivate people but coming out and publicly stating Odom is out of shape and that his starting spot isn't secure isn't something that should be aired to the public. I don't think either of the two men have handled this in the best way possible. I don't think it will hurt our chemistry, but there is still the slight chance that it can.

Odom is playing for a contract this year, he'll be plenty motivated come season time. I'm not doubting his motivation or his work ethic at all right now. He had a full off-season to get his body completely healthy, I'm glad he had that.

Never question the Zen Masters tactics...they might not make sense to you now but down the road it will....thats what I have learned over the years

No, I wasn`t saying this is the one and only feasible trade option avaiable.

I just knew that they have similar salaries, both contracts are expiring. Some Laker fans were saying how horrible Odom was and he wasn`t very effective at SF, while Szerbiack (sp?) is a natural SF. If he was as terrible as they say he is, and want him gone, would they do it for another expiring guy who can play SF in Szerbiack?

Why would we want Szerbiack when we have Vladamir Radmanovic, pretty much the same exact player? Szerbiack and Lamar are both expirings anyways, and Lamar is 10Xs the player. No thanks.

Yeah, you don't think I know that already? I'm just saying for this certain situation, little back-handed comments like that aren't necessary.

Even if all the players are saying the right thing in interviews Phil needs to create an edge. He needs to make sure nobody starts taking what they could be for granted. He wants to get the players to have the "I'll show you" attitude.

lol, at least he's smart enough not to pull that shit on Kobe lol. Don`t want Kobe opting out early, demanding trades, or anything.
