if atkins and hunter are expiring, good deal for the pacers.

Why would the Nuggets want to dump on Camby, take on Tinsley?

To me it doesn't make sense.

I think they both might be off the books after the 09/10 season, but I may be wrong

garbage in, garbage out. Atleast the pacers get rid of their new garbage sooner.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well too.

Denver made a bad deal by sending out Camby though, they won't really be a threat to the Western Conference. (might not even make the playoffs)

Last year Tinsley was playing pretty good before he got injured, so in Denver, maybe he revives himself? It seems like a good fit with their tempo and players but he'll get frustrated when they are in the lotto next year ;)

I would actually venture to say that the Nuggets wouldn't be making the playoffs anyways. They barely squeaked in last year, and I think the Blazers could easily be the better team than them this year, and I don't know if any of the other 7 teams above them digressed enough.

As for this trade....I dunno. I've always been a fan of Tinsley since he came to the league, so I hope has success. If he can stay healthy and stay on the court this year, he could be a big help to the Nuggets and allow Iverson to play the 2 and not have to worry about being the only real playmaker on the court too.

According to ESPN, Denver said this never happened and that they were only talks.
