Magic retired early that's why. That's not a good example.

There's no reason why I should draft Cousy over Kevin Johnson for example. I just don't see him translating well.

You have to take it into context, not in a time machine. Cousy was the greatest PG during his era and thus the greatest ever until Oscar Robinson came along.

KJ was an all-star for sure, but never the best PG in the league and not even 2nd best with Magic, Isiah and Stockton around.

Yeah I know, I'm reflecting on how I don't think Cousy would play so well now.

when looking at that, I've always said you have to take into account; better travel arrangements for player, better nutrition knowledge, better training and better pay too I think Cousy's skills would translate well and he'd still be a top shelf athlete if he trained like today's players. I think Cousy would be a 3 PG in any era. He was still fast, a great ball handler, great passer, great at running the break. His defence and shooting would be a tad low, but I think he'd be better at getting in the paint and finishing or dishing.
but that's how I would envision it.

    I was overexaggerating.

My only role is to lessen the tension.

So on that note...the Flying Purple People Eaters have the best picture in the rosters page.

And I edited the rosters page, it should be updated.

pissed or upset at Huevon... naw.

Well for one he has the highest career apg of 11.2 apg. But he isn't the all time assists leader because he played 13 seasons and Stockton played 19, if Magic played a similar amount of games it would be pretty close.

    Two requests:

    1) Stop mentioning players' names who aren't drafted, please
    2) My team name should be "Denny and the Jets"

but the inverse of that high average is it would go down as he got older. He only leads Stockton by .5 apg right now.
Since he was 5700 assists behind stockton, there's not guaruntee he would have passed him in total either.

The bulk of Stockton's assists went to one player.
