I agree with you on #2. I think with #1, the first part about getting the shot right, they better do that during a timeout or quarter breaks or some shit cause it'll kill momentum like you said. To me, whatever happens, happens. Can't get them all. But the second part of it isn't so bad, if it comes to rewarding the right number of free throws, but they should not take up too much time, which I don't see it being.
I agree about the FT thing if they had just that as a rule but they are voting on the whole thing. That means they will do it after any questionable shot that may or may not being a three. It says at ANY point. Momentum is a huge part of basketball (obviously).
Yeah it would be uber gay. Hopefully they could just do that second part, cause I don't mind that part as much.
IT would be better for there to be a TV ref, i.e. a ref just watching replays so he can make decisions based on replays in a matter of seconds without stopping the game - that would be my solution to 1.i). 1.ii) sounds fine, nothing wrong with that since the play has stopped due to a foul anyway. And 2 makes perfect sense. I'd also like to see the time measured more accurately, too.
Seem like we all know whats up...lets hope the teams make the right vote because passing (1) would be a huge mistake
