I have to agree with Phil, though if he were to simply recreate his per-minute production from last year that would be an extremely sweet sight. I just want him to stay healthy when we need him.
If we can have Kobe scoring 27-28 ppg, with Gasol averaging around 20-10, AND Bynum averaging 20-10 with everyone else on the roster, then we would be unstoppable. I don't see it happening either. More realistic would probably be 15-10 for him next year.
I think Bynum is going to average 14 ppg, with about 9 rebounds a game. With Odom, Gasol and Bynum things could get crowded in the frontcourt. PJax is gonna have to juggle some personalities this season and keep everyone in check.
I think the realistic goal for Bynum will be around 14/10 this year. There's going to be too many people of need of the ball in order for him to crack 20ppg.
Bynum just won't see enough touch, or enough minutes, to average close to 20 ppg. If Gasol was never brought in, maybe. But with Gasol, I think 14/10 (as others have said) is far more realistic.
