Kobold tire herself out trying for that takedown so long, and it allowed Gina to wail on her when they broke. That girl some serious blood coming, you could see drips of it every time she moved following her. Gina pretty much beat her up that round.

Gina can take a shot too, she took that knee and a couple of rights and kept coming forward.

Damn Kobold is TOUGH.

she's being effective in the stand up too, but Gina has the combos working while Kobold is getting one shot in at a time.

I agree with the five minute rounds, I would find it kind of offensive if I was a female fighter like these two. A longer round, gives a better chance to end the fight and not let it go to a decision. It just seems hard to prove something in just 9 minutes of fighting, compared to the 15 they are used to.

Kobold finally got her down, and was wearing Gina out there towards the end of the round. I do believe that because of how that round ended that I would award that round to Kobold.

So Gina dominated that round, I think she wins this fight kind of easy. With exception to the takedown, she definately hurt Kobold pretty bad in this fight.

great fight, Carano dominated but Kobold is tough and had a few moments. Carano was never really in trouble though.

Cyborg Santos had a nice ringside seat to watch what should be her next opponent in Carano.

yikes 1 hour in and they have 3 fights to go! and one is a 5 round title fight....

I had AA Dec 3, I thought Nelson could take the pounding and last.. whoops. AA looks like he's back to his dominant ways pre-Tim Sylvia fights

Arlovski beat him up there, nice fight by him. He was having a hard time at first, but I think the Beer Gut got a little winded couldn't hit another take down, and got knocked out after that. He had that one very nice punch there at the beginning of the second, about 15 seconds in, and then tried to stand to much causing the KO.

Nice first round, Shields definately controlled a majority of it, and I think won that round. That said, Daley landed the best shots on their feet, and had a nice roll over when Shields went for the second armbar attempt. He showed he can handle getting grounded and pounded for quite a few minutes.

And There it is! Armbar, and Daley did the worst thing possible when someone has an armbar, he tried to pull away. Just helped Shields get it in even tighter, and looked like it hurt like hell.

A win for Shields but not an impressive one. He looked flat and out of his element on his feet and Daley was doing a decent job at defending the takedown for a while and held defended well until the end on the ground.

Shields would not last vs GSP at all.

Here we go, the main event, Kimbo Slice! Going to be a fun one for sure I think, Seth will be his toughest fight to date that is for sure. I'm excited to see this fight.
