What exactly don't you get about pace?

    Tell me how he choked.

Out of the PGs available he was the best one on the table. I value big people normally, then a PG to run that team.

Edit- Chris Paul's usage rate, Pace, and Assist % are noticeably better. I'm somewhat a fan of Per differential.

what evidence is there that shows Tmac doesn't choke????

I don't have a vendetta against him........he just shouldn't have gone that early over plenty of better players.

Disagree, I'd say he's better than various players selected and if you already have a go-to guy he's the perfect complimentary piece.

Edit- He's choked in Houston definitely. In Orlando that stuff was overblown I thought though.

When you insist that he takes a crazy amount of jumpers in the "clutch" or whatever you said, that sounds like vendetta to me.

    Kobe Penny Wade?

I thought Robinson played in a better era for bigs than Duncan too.

yes I've watched him, and he fails to take over at critical points in the game. His teams get series leads, but never close out anyone................he's never been out the 1st round, primarily, because he doesn't have what it takes to lead a team......................neither does Vince Carter.

Shaq > D Rob.......much more dominant and physical

he did and they were better than him....

Uh lol did you just think I said T-Mac HASN'T choked? Why are you telling me this?

Kobe has a lot to do with that I'd say.

Plus Shaq takes a dump on your regular season and potential second star.

    Because?

because I asked what evidence was there that he hasn't choked...and you replied with "playoffs???" as if he's proven anything there.

you're letting your man love for Kobe dictate your opinions on Shaq......Shaq was dominant before Kobe.......Shaq's better than David Robinson

they were much more dominant...Hakeem, Shaq, and Duncan are all better............

you could've selected Shaq or Duncan and a better SG and you would have a much better team than you currently do......

    C:Shaq or Duncan
    PF: Mchale
    SF:
    SG: someone better than Vince
    PG: Paul

would be one of the better teams on the board...........

    EDIT

Offensively your post game would arguably be the best......McHale was great on the blocks....

Yes you didn't get what I said. I said "playoffs?" in a, yeah it is pretty damn obvious question, way. :]

    I only mentioned Kobe?

Dude wtf, why do you keep bringing up Hakeem as if I chose DRob over him?

Nah I wanted to defend Robinson from you. I don't like Shaq though.

Carter in his prime is comparable to any of the people you said. You're getting carried away with his "finesse".

that still doesn't change the fact that Shaq is better than Robinson

no but you chose him over Shaq, Duncan, and Moses Malone....that shouldn't have happened

I didn't even list anyone..................with that being said there are better players out there............and that means statistically, defensively, and big games...........

Because you say he chokes. Even if he is better, the reaction was unwarranted.

Moses is not a complete player.

Shaq is someone I'm not going to draft... I expected people to give me shit about it actually, just not the whole "choke" business for DRob which is unfounded.

Hell I even said there are better players... So? I have to take into account BS intangible talk about T-Mac, and how some people might slip. At his peak there is no distinguishable way to tell VC apart from other guards though.

shaq wasn't soft in the post, D Rob was....Shaq was better in the post season....

Robinson isn't complete either..........he's not a great post player and he's not a good big game player....

if there are better players at his position then why would you select him????? That makes no sense...............at all....................and yes there are guys who are flat out better than Vince in many areas statistically and non statistically........

To me it was between Duncan and Robinson to be honest. Like I said, I dislike Shaq.

K that's fine, never said Shaq or Duncan couldn't be considered better.

Why? Because I think defending T-Mac is a pain. And since Miller was drafted, I thought VC might get a run. It has to do with depth at the positions really, if I said more I'd ruin someone I want to pick. :/

Why do people hate the Reggie Miller pick? Imagine Shaq and the Mailman setting screens for him, WIDE OPEN.

there's a reason why he was one of the best to ever play his position...............he wasn't great defensively, but offensively he was outstanding, and he was always a pretty good rebounder......
