I gotta figure they will open it up more with Mendenhall and Parker out. And sure enough, 'Berger has 14 attempts already
I feel sick after having time to re-evaluate that loss today. There were two key moments were we could have tied that game. One was on 3rd and long and Philip threw a fucking bomb deep to Vincent Jackson who had two men beat, but Philip overthrew him by a few yards. And then of course, that goal line stop by Miami where our offensive line got absolutely no push at all. I can't stand when teams try to pound the middle on the road @ goal line situations. Either send LT over the top, or put in Sproles and swing it out to him on a screen or throw him a HB toss. He's one of the quickest players in the league, Miami wouldn't have stopped him. For me, next week is our make or break game. We can either turn our season around next week by coming out and putting a stomping on a good New England team (great with Brady, good without him), or we can go to 3-5 and really hurt our chances at winning that AFC West title. I expect a statement game from the first snap, on.
