Whenever I open a new window using Internet Explorer (or one opens automatically when I click on a link), all I see are the tool bars at the top; I have to hit the "expand" button in order to see the entire window. How do I adjust the settings so that when new windows open, they fill the screen? It used to do that, but I think my daughter was fiddling around with the mouse and changed the setting somehow. If it matters, I have Vista, with probably the lastest version of Explorer. Thanks!

Well, the only suggestion I can give you, and the one you probably expected is: get Firefox.

It should open windows the same size as the last window you close (no more IE windows after that).

WWW sites can cause windows to open at the size of their choosing, however.

What Denny said. Open a window, enlarge it, then close it. The next one you open should be enlarged.

for some reason, it doesn't work. I manually enlarge a window (as opposed to using the enlarge button in the upper right), close it, and then I click on one of the links in someone's signature. Same thing. It is really frustrating.

I don't know if it works if you manually enlarge. Is the "maximize" button not showing or something?

yes, it is there, but using the maximize button and then closing the window doesn't work, either. That's what I do when I open each new window to begin with.

I also recommend getting Firefox. Interface is much much better and i heard it's also faster. Easy to use as well.
