Hello ? ..... The season is upon us. This roster is looking pretty damn good right now. Are you excited? Are you alive? Just a simple: Yes, I'm here. And I am excited about this season. That's all I'm asking. Preseason starts tomorrow. GET RED.
Ok, so last Saturday I went to the Rockets Open Practice. It started around 12:00 and the first 500 fans got vouchers to get autographs from the players. We got there at exactly 11:40 and just randomly skipped a BUNCH of people without them knowing. When they were handing out the vouchers, me, my friend, and his brother, got the last 3 vouchers that were passed out so we got EXTREMELY lucky and it sucked for the people behind us. So the scrimmage overall was pretty fun. Dorsey with some nice windmills. At the end, I got signatures from Artest, Scola, Landry, and Harris. I also caught one of the "GET RED" shirts Clutch was throwing. The day overall was amazing catching shirts, getting signatures, and watching the players! Who else went?
Yeah that lucky bastard. But they scream their asses off in games, it's like so damn loud but dude gets season tickets!
My impression is that the Red Rowdies are the closest thing to Euro basketball fans in the NBA. I'll try to catch some Rockets games this season and find out.
Man, I want some Rockets stuff....Should I order it? Primarily a Laker fan, but a Rockets fan in SoCal.
I can like two teams. Lakers since I was young, Rockets once Yao got there. (I'm Shanghainese and so is he and we also know how rare it is to see a Chinese player in the league). First love will always be my Lakers. I live here and always have.
unfortunately I gotta DVR the game 2morrow night, because I'm going to be in class taking an exam. First thing I'm gonna do when I get home is watch that bad boy though! I CAN'T WAIT!! AND YES I'm ready to get this thing rocking.....Ron Ron, Landry, and Dorsey are who I'm excited about watching the most......I haven't been this excited about a rockets season since we first got Tmac........I hope this trade turns out better............................Go Rockets! Even Tmac, because we will definitely need him to accomplish our ultimate goal..................... GET RED DAMNIT!!!!!
unfortunately I can't be this semester I have night time classes, and I didn't find out about Artest until after I made my schedule for this semester. Next semester I'm going to try to make all my classes in the day time, and hopefully some Rowdies will drop out, which would allow me to "scoot" my way into the circle again...............................
lol.......I hate it, because I know this season is gonna be fun to watch....can't wait til this semester is over with.........
I haven't been this excited about an upcoming season in a long time. There are so many interesting stories: Obviously, how does Ron Artest mix in Does the offense start looking more like a Rick Adelman offense? Carl Landry ... a fluke last year, or is this guy for real? What does Aaron Brooks look like in his second year?
Anyone have a template for Game Threads cause we should make them for each game of the season, including preseason. We might only have me, Durvasa, and Dream for now, but we can grow on that. Plus I need those game thread templates for the Laker games
