This season, KCAL9 will no longer put their games on tape delay. Which means when we go on east coast trips, we no longer have to wait 2 hours or so after the game starts to watch it!

This is great news. My dream has come true. You don't know how infuriating it is to come home excited for the game, only to find out it isn't being shown live, forcing me to check the internet for boxscores. Then when the game actually comes on, there's no point of watching it because it's already halftime in the real world.

Btw, if you don't believe me, check the schedule.

I feel the same. I can't watch a game if I already know what had happened.

I actually dont mind the tape delay. Since I have to work I dont get to watch the game live anyway, if everyone else has to wait I dont feel as slighted. Misery loves company.

Pretty stupid if you don't know what games were tape delayed or not. That used to be pretty heavily publicized so the fans could know that. Is it really that hard to avoid any kind of updates for an hour or so before you can finally watch the game?

    For me? Yes.

I refuse to watch the game when it is actually over, because if the Lakers lose, I'd feel like I'm wasting my time. So I always check the boxscores and stuff, which makes me not want to watch the games win or lose. I'm picky so shut up.

I get what you mean. But instead having to watch games the next day after school the next day
as the games end at 1, 2 am.
