http://www.bolthype.com/2008/10/bolthype-interview-quentin-jammer.html Jammer, imo, is one of the most underrated CB's in the league. He's an excellent CB and a big locker room leader, especially for guys like Cromartie and Cason. I think he'd make an excellent safety. If Cason can pan out, we can move Jammer to the S position. He can lay some fucking wood.
Why move Jammer to S? Cromartie is an excellent athlete with elite athleticism... but he isn;t the CB Jammer is yet. And Cason is a rookie? How is Paul Oliver doing?
I'm not talking about moving Jammer, now. In a few years, if Cason pans out the way he is supposed to and Cromartie does, as well, Jammer would make one hell of a S. As for Oliver, he hasn't gotten any burn. I actually don't know anything about him, can you give me any info on him?
I love how Jammer plays against the Pats. He used to be considered somewhat of an underachiever if I remember correctly, but now he's just ignored by the media. :]
You are correct. His biggest flaw was his horrible hands. I'll take those though, because he can lay some god damn wood. Cromartie is starting to lay the wood, too. He's been a good mentor for Cro and I hope he can do the same for Cason.
