Well, Eli and Ben are the only 2 to lead there teams to a Superbowl, but Eli had to go up against the unbeatable Pats...

All 3 have proven to be good. Probably depend on your preference.

I think Rivers will win a SB eventually too.

As for overall talent: Big Ben, Rivers, Eli, Losman

All of the big 3 are great leaders, with two of them being awesome vocal leaders: Big Ben and Philip.

Give me Philip over any of them, though.

Roethlisberger is pretty clearly the best of the bunch.

I think Big Ben is the most overrated of the bunch, honestly. I don't know, I just think he's so overrated and over hyped. I don't look at him as a potential Brady, Manning, Palmer type of QB.

Why exactly? I felt he was overrated when the Steelers won the Super Bowl, but he's grown since then and is more than just a game manager. He's the most accurate of the three and has just as strong an arm as Eli. I don't think either Rivers or Manning could play as well as he has behind such a shitty offensive line. I consider him at that level just below Peyton and Tom Brady. Last year he played better than Carson Palmer.

Right at this moment, Ben looks like the most accomplished QB due to his body of work. I'm not implying things can't change (the magnitude isn't insurmountable), but that's all I can really say for now.

I think Ben and Eli are both better than Rivers. Any 3 of them would be good starters on a team, but if I had to choose one I would go with Eli.

Maybe I can't speak on the topic then, as I still view Ben as a game manager. I don't watch many Steelers games, so that also has an impact on my views of him, obviously. He's a great game manager, but I don't think he can really "wow" you through the air. Maybe it's a part of the environment I live in. There are a ton of Steelers fans here in So Cal who can't tell you shit about football, but wear Roethlisberger jerseys, etc. He does get a lot of coverage on ESPN, as well.

He's a good QB and just on line with the other three, IMO. I just don't think he is better than either Eli or Philip.

This is the first year that we're seeing Philip as a true focal point in the Chargers' offense. I'd wait to evaluate him. If he can continue this pace throughout the season (3500 yards, 30+ TDs) then the only thing Ben and Eli have over him is a ring.

That could be true, I'm just going off of accomplishments and history.

When I have watched Rivers in the past, he wasn't really a part of the game. Moreso just tried to not screw things up and worked LT for what he was worth.

The more i think about it though, the less convinced I am on who to pick, I won't vote yet (not like it matters though :) ).

That's exactly right. That's how Marty planned the game. Rivers made the Pro Bowl that year, but he didn't have a major impact. Then last year, he struggled with learning the offense of Norv Turner, like the rest of the team, but after week 8 or so, Rivers really took over this team.

I've got really high hopes for the kid. The offense is now his and they've looked good. It's our defense that needs some life support.

To vouche for my Guy, Ben has gotten rocked the last few years. Some games that show his worth is last year vs. Ravens (home), Browns (home), and this year Texans (home), Jags (away). He was given an awesome team his first two years in the league. And won a ring with them. Now, he may be the most difficult QB to plan for because he can throw short, or long. He likes contact and can throw and run while getting hit. But has learned to make 3rd and 4th reads. Also, he's very positive within the locker room and is a leader on a team of leaders (Reed, Ward, Miller, Farrior, Troy, Smith).
I'll always take Big Ben, but if i need to take one other, it's Eli. He's just so calm.

It's worth mentioning that one playoffs and 4 regular season games has vaulted Eli over Rivers and even Roethlisberger for some people. I personally am still a little anxious until that sample size increases. Manning's started the season strong almost every year, but the key will be to avoid the bipolar streakiness from game to game. I really can't say that he's settled that problem for sure until he's faced more difficult competition (I've got Week 8 marked on my calendar).

It feels weird advocating skepticism when it comes to Eli, because I've spent the better part of the past 3 years trying to convince everyone that he had what it takes to be an elite QB.

I like Big Ben. He is still kind of a knucklehead (or independent spirit, whichever you prefer).

He won the Super Bowl, but in spite of his performance, not because of it.

I love his arm, his strength and his mobility - all are easily the best of these. He should be better than he is. He needs to take his conditioning much more seriously. I think he could stand to grow up a little, but sometimes QBs are a little rough around the edges and they turn out just fine. He seems to be one of those.

Eli has a very good arm and the best pocket mobility of this bunch. He is the least vocal but by far the most professional and unflappable of the three.

His crunch time credentials are now very good, but most of the positives are recent - he lacks consistency over a long period of time. However, there is no more confident player in the league right now.

His quiet leadership style is very effective now that he's more comfortable with his role and his teammates look at him as the face of the team. He looks like the franchise QB everyone expected - but there's still a lingering "wait and see" attached to him.

Rivers is a fiery guy. His delivery is strange, but he has shown he knows how to get the ball where it needs to go. When he is on, he can carry his team to a victory.

His emotions are right on the surface, so he has sometimes alternated between being a cocky asshole and getting down on himself. He still has a lot of maturing to do.

If he can stay healthy, he'll probably get better the longer he plays.

The ONLY reason the team got there though was because of him

I think he's talking about the actual Super Bowl. He had a pretty shitty final game.
