Not to mention the difference with the Clippers team was that they didn't fit together well and were a dissappointment.

The Blazers won't be players in the free agent market in 2010 because they will have to extend Roy and Aldrdige before then. So it will up to the Nets to sigh Lebron that year.

If I follow it right, Blazers have cap flexibility for one year (this coming up summer) to get one more big piece before they go way over the cap and will have to rely on trades or the MLE to aquire players.

Nets have an incredible fan base on the two boards I post on, good to see . . . I've become a closet Nets fan reading all the posts on this board. Go Yi!

Any idea on who, position, attributes of this one big piece? From the outside looking in, maybe a shooter in the mold of Redd? A defensive stopper in the mold of Bowen?

A lot of people like Josh Childress on the blazers board.

The general opinion is a defensive wing stopper. A Prince/Battier type.

but today isn't the roaring 90s anymore...paul allen probably lost $1B of his net worth the last few days...makes you think twice about having to pay more than you have to...
