don't know what to make of this...I mean if taking the preseason off will help his knee then I'm all for it....I just hope this knee thing won't be an ongoing problem throughout the season..........

The doctors told him it could take him up to 6 months (from the surgery) for it to recover. So, expect to be an issue for him at least into December. We have another tough schedule out of the gate this year, so hopefully the rest of the guys can pick up the slack. McGrady typically starts off seasons slowly, and now that's even more likely to happen.

I have to admit that I'm getting tired of hearing Tmac's chronic health problems every single year. I think the Rockets will just have to find a way to win without Tmac because it seems like it's only gonna get worse. Especially with his recent "I can't" mentality. Thank God Artest is here.

It will be really sad if Tmac gets hurt again this year. This is his best chance to not only get past the first round, but possibly past the second round. He has to stay healthy this whole year. He can finally get past the first round, it would suck if he gets hurt!

It sucks he's always hurt for you guys but this year is starting off even worse than usual for him. He is gonna break down.

I cant believe the Artest comment...Thanking God for Ron Artest?!? Famous last words

I've never liked Artest since his Chicago days.. however I'd rather put my money on Artest's health than Tmac's right now. Time will tell if I'm right.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Artest has missed more games to injury the last 3 seasons than T-Mac.

Well of course Artest>Tmac health wise....Im just talking about how Artest is nuts and you are thankful he is there yet there is the chance he could rip this team apart...Still a good gamble

You may be right, I never really followed much of Artest's career prior to now. I'm just really tired of Tmac's drama? It looks like he'll complain about a paper cut.

I'm also well aware of Artest's mental problems. However I'm more willing to put my money on him being able to work it out with the team than Tmac's health.

I think both players need to be forced to take PR classes or something. Not too sure about Artest, but I know Tmac opens his mouth too much. He needs to learn how to control his tongue.
