No. 70-68 with 5 minute quarters (with overtime) was the highest scoring game. The rest were in the 30's, 40's, and low 50's.
This game is great. The cinematics are awesome, the commentary is thorough and runs throughout the entire game as if you're watching it on TNT or ESPN, graphics are hot, gameplay is realistic and the text is more readable than before. I was amazed at how many improvements could be made for this game in just 1 year.
Whoever has ps3 add me ToFuSmurF! I'm still learning the game as I have been playing Live since 03 and the 98 version with Antoine Walker as the cover...lol I'm playing with default sliders. Ghoti recommended downloading the popular sliders, any other recommendations. Also how do I shoot jumpers smoother? Every time I wanna shoot off the dribble, the guy instead jump stops then shoots. It's slow and I'm sure there is a quicker way of doing things.
In my part of town all the 2k9's were sold out for the PS3 and XBOX 360. PS2 were almost sold out as well. Surprised they're still making games. I wonder if they still dunk from the freethrow line off one step (lol) like last years PS2 version?
LOL I inbound the ball and start to push the ball up the court, and the mascot for the Wizards is still jumping around ON the court
I rented it and had to tweak the sliders a bunch. Had to dock down the offensive rebounding of the CPU as well as bump up my defensive rebounding, otherwise I can't keep them off the glass. Also docked their shooting sliders to the mid-40s, otherwise they were shooting about 60% on me and dropped 130 points in my first game doing 9 minute quarters. After the aforementioned tweakings, I won 109-107 and each team shot right around 48-50%, which was much nicer. However, some of these struggles could be because my fantasy drafted team is full of rookies...who knows though.

I left all the sliders the same, and I lose to these teams who can't seem to miss, and when they do miss, they get fouled. EVERYONE HATES YAO!
It's sick. I was playing my second game on association mode, and the commentators said Happy Halloween in the beginning of the game. Made it seem even more realistic.
Yeah man I got 2 online wins. They both quit cuz I'm the shizzle lol. Anyways I only use the Rockets so far and get called out for cheesing. Man you got a 7'5 big man in the post. I'm going feed him like Angela does Sylar ya dig? I only take open jumpers. I don't care for taking heavily guarded jumpers. 2k9 is awesome so far. Afrowaiian808= My game tag for the X-Box 360
Yeah I did Association, and I'm not used to reading the 2k computers drafting so I made due. PG: Louis Williams / Ramon Sessions SG: Ray Allen / Damien Wilkins / Flip Murray SF: Hedo Turkoglu / Donte Greene / Luc Ricard Mbah a Moute PF: Kenyon Martin / Carl Landry C: Yao Ming / Mikki Moore / DeAndre Jordan Theres 2 more that I don't remember right now.
Here's mine. PG: Chris Duhon / Luke Ridnour SG: Mike Miller / Bonzi Wells / Derek Anderson SF: Paul Pierce / Ime Udoka / Viktor Khryapa/ Linton Johnson PF: David West / Drew Good / Alan Henderson C: Kendrick Perkins / Ben Wallace/ I have one more reserve, but I don't remember who.
My team looks like... PG: Louis Williams/Rodney Stuckey/Sergio Rodriguez SG: OJ Mayo/Daequan Cook SF: Mike Beasley/Donte Green/Linas Kleiza/Shawne Williams PF: Kevin Love/Ryan Anderson/Nick Fazekas C: Kosta Koufos/Javale McGee/Deandre Jordan To note...I believe Fazekas, Jordan and Williams are on the inactive list. They don't touch the court. Ever. And I do realize that Beasley is a PF technically...but I don't care. He plays SF and does a damn good job of it. And yes, I realize I have an over-abundance of rookies on this team.
