    Senator John McCain announced today that Gov. Sarah Palin would step down from the ticket in order to spend more time trying to get Trooper Mike Wooten fired. In her place, the waitress at a local beer hall McCain happened to be visiting at the time of the announcement was chosen, after a short vetting procedure, shown here.

    The trooper isn't the issue here. He isn't running for VP. Being that he's in Alaska, he poses no danger to me whatsoever. So I really don't give a crap about him. He sounds like a yahoo, but really, who cares?

    Palin's behavior is the issue. Palin is the one running for VP.
