no you can't......and Amare is far from an enforcer......................

Paul doesn't cream Joey D.............Joey D = HOF, scorer, one of the best perimeter defenders of all time, Finals MVP, All Star, basketball genius....................Joey D is the truth...............and he could run the point, but Zeke was better at it.......he can bring the ball up floor and he can pass and set others up with penetration and by posting up.......

Lol wtf? Pay attention to who I draft, look at Round 7.

Joey D was never close to being an MVP over the course of a season. Paul would take his girl too. :ghoti:

Well that would be fitting considering how the bad boys propped up his entire career.

Well if it makes him compliment his game again with those 9 assists, 7 Rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 steals and zero turnovers even on a shitty team like the Raptors in 2001, then I wouldn't mind too much. :o

    ghoti,

now that he's picked, Sloan would have been a better pick for what you were looking for than Hollins.

You mean Cheeks. I didn't see Sloan, but I know Cheeks was an exceptional PG.

He had to be guarded. You make him sound like Andre Miller. This guy was a star player. I don't need him to carry the offensive load, just keep his own defender honest.

He's 9th all-time in assists, 4th in steals (and it's not like he played 20 years or something), four All-Defensive 1st teams and four All-Star games.

With Moncrief, I know that backcourt is perfect for my team - especially considering where I picked them.

I can't say if Sloan was better. Was he as good at pressure defense as Mo? Almost nobody I've ever seen is.

Thoughts so far? Also are we allowed to make trades here?

Claud, you have to pick again.

    Hill was picked #96.

Sloan has always been considered one of the top few defensive guards in NBA history. 4x all-nba 1st team defense, 2x 2nd team.

(there's other guards I have in mind, that haven't been taken as well)

Like I said, I can look up Sloan's stats, but I don't really know how he played. He may be perfect - but I didn't see it. I certainly would have considered him if Cheeks was already picked (which I thought he would have been, actually).

I know for sure Cheeks is exactly what I need, though. Cheeks and Moncrief. That's an awesome combo.

He wasn't a natural point guard, but he was certainly one of the greatest defenders all-time. His teams were known for defense at all 5 positions, and were contenders in spite of having a short (height) starting lineup.

That's what this draft is about. Learning about players from different eras (Well, maybe not you, huevonkiller ). I did one of these before, and also one where you were only allowed to pick players who were never All-Stars. That was quite a challenge.
