What kind of 'punishment' does Monta deserve?

    How harsh of a punishment does Monta deserve? Obviously they won't cut him, or I don't think they will, but what would you do if you were the GM/Coach in the position to do so.

    Not paying him for the games he misses because of this injury sounds fair. Is that already happening?

    well they should obviously trade him to the thunder. that ought to be punishment enough.

    I went ahead and fixed the name for you Petey. Its Monta not Monte.

    I really don't care how they decide to punish him. I just want him healthy and back to 100% in the near future.

    He's going to be suspended for the first 26 games of the regular season, which I guess is approximately how long he'd have been out anyways. That sounds fair. No point in paying him for missing games he shouldn't be missing.

    Punishment seemed to match the crime in my book. I'm with Durvasa here, if he's not going to be out on the court earning his check, why pay him?

    He was punished for violating the terms of his contract by riding a moped in the offseason.
