    Can't say I completely agree with Texas leapfrogging 'Bama, but it's definitely understandable.

    i don't see how you can disagree. texas was ranked #5 and just beat the #1 team at a neutral site.

    So? Alabama destroyed everybody's pre-season #1 in Athens. Arguments can be made for both schools; it's all opinionated until either team loses.

    they destroyed everyone's preseason #1 who dropped from that spot and fell to #3 because that hadn't been as good as a couple of other teams(one of which was the ou team that texas beat).
