Time for Jenkins, Scandrick, and Ball to step up. Admittedly, I am disappointed. Disappointed in Jones for putting himself in such a stupid position. And pissed that Goodell is a fuck-tard.
Wow, a game or two would have been fine, but four seems extreme. From the sounds of it, both parties made it sound like it was just horse play that went a little far. If no police report or lawsuit is being filed by either side, I find no reason to suspend Pacman for four games. This sounds like something that should be appealed, because that's some bullshit right there.
it's ridiculous that he gets suspended 4 games for an incident in which there were no arrests and no charges filed because the police reported that he may have been drinking.
This suspension isn't about the actual incident. It's about Goodell not wanting to reinstate him in the first place. Pacman knows the media will blow up any minor thing he does. He used up every bit of his leeway. (more)
The fact that this seems like a nothing incident is the only reason he might avoid a permanent ban. The Cowboys didn't take too big a risk on him. They knew he was unlikely to stay out of the spotlight.
He barely deserved to be reinstated in the first place. The suspension make sense to me. There's no precedent for the situation Pacman's in. He's one of the more consistent fuckups in league history and he's come at a time when the NFL's made a concerted effort to clean up their image. This was to be expected.
Yeah he really squeaked in. Honestly I'm surprised it's a suspension and not a permanent ban. I mean, after all he's been through why are we giving this guy another shot? Don't get me wrong, I really want him on the team, but this is just too extreme a case to be biased. Pacman is an idiot and I'm shocked that Goodell is even contemplating letting him back in.
Uh, yeah he did. He fought his bodyguard that the Cowboys gave him to keep him out of trouble. WTF pacman!
Everything that I've heard says it was horseplay that went a little too far. Doesn't sound too horrific to me.
Sportscenter is making it seem like Pacman is doneski as a Cowboy, regardless of what happens after 4 weeks. Apparently Jerry has disbanded his Babysitter's Club
Heard that too. To me, it signals that Jerry thinks Pacman won't get reinstated on his own accord (good behavior). So he's disbanded the security force, essentially saying, "Pacman, we aren't going to cut you. But its up to you if you want to come back and behave. I'm done trying to make it so. Its up to you."
I don't know. If Jerry took Pacman in, contingent that he would unfuck his life and be accompanied by the security force, what will he think once Pacman gets suspended again, and fights his bodyguard? I think this one is beyond Jerruh's threshold.
