I wish I could go but I have class late on Thursdays. I could probably make it just before tip-time if I really tried. The game is on YES though, so I don't think it's worth it for preseason. I'll just catch it on TV. And nice on the Drazen jersey. I've been wanting to get one for a while now.
I'll be there with a couple friends in section 111. First time seeing the celtics live. Best part is we got the tickets free from the Nets Open house. They gave ticket vouchers for donating canned food items, and when it was over they gave away more vouchers.
hehe i saw the celts last year... preseason games i dont get to go too cuz of scheduling... my wife only lets me go to a certain amount of games so i have to use it on regular season if i was single id go to every freakin game!

Yea I hear ya bro. My girl agreed to come to 8 games this year though so I guess I'm kind of lucky. But theirs a couple games I already see on the calender that I'm going to have to choose her or the game...of course I'm choosing her.....most of the time

LOL i had to barrow a teammates short... and they were HUGE!!! ahah and shes all like im not lettin our son play bball... im like ok we shall see... ima get a divorce soon...if she dont stop!!!
LOL... i took her to like 4 games last year instead of my brothers, and we had great seats... like 3 rows behind the visitor's bench... and she watches the game from the teletron... when shes practically on the court... and one time against the pacers... she FELL asleep!!! and got mad at a little kid for waking her up with their yells... IM LIKE OMFG its a game suppose to be rowdy and noisey.... LOL to get back at her... i bought my ipod to her fathers 70th birthday party... and sat in the corner hahah JK JK...
Woah lol. Well I don't know if my girl is going to be like that if we get married. We were best friends through high school and then started going out over a year ago. Shes a pretty cool girl...loves sports...and is cool with all my friends. Hopefully she don't turn on me lol. She was becoming a fan of the Nets until they let Boki go. She was rather upset. But anyways about the game tomorrow, I'm interested to see Dooling and CDR play. Hopefully CDR gets major minutes since he sat most of London.
we should watch 1 game all the sportstwo posters get good seats... like one of the mcdonald plans so its buy 1 get 1 free ^^
I've never been to a pre-season game. Do they still do the whole opening introduction, nets dancers/team hype during timeouts, etc.?
Yeah, just a lighter version usually. They usually don't unveil their real opening introduction until the Home Opener of the season. Hopefully they use something better than the "Stronger" video they had last year. That got really annoying really fast.
Be there tomorrow and have been to every one of them since 2001...which was my favorite. Kidd had just predicted the Nets would win 41 games. September 11 had taken place three weeks earlier and no one wanted to go to any crowded event. So there were 500 people (announced) at the game. Kidd took the mike at center court and told the "crowd" that the team would give everything it had and to have faith. Then, a few minutes later, on a fast break he threw a bounce pass alley oop to KMart. That's when I knew it would be a fun year. Second favorite: Amare Stoudemire's first game in a professional uniform. He threw down a dunk on KMart. Not long afterwards, KMart did the same to him.
Wow just reading that almost sent chills down my spine. I'm very excited this year...I think the Nets are going to prove a lot of people wrong.
i like the knicks too. besides the celtics are a terrible team to get autographs from. last preseason knicks game i went to i got the entire team at one game. and yeah i was the guy who went to alot of games last year, about half the season. my future wife was into basketball before she even met me, guess i lucked out lol.
I'll be at the game tonight as well. Didn't think I would have gone to the first two preseason games already but I guess its good that I'm getting my moneys worth for the season tixs.
