if you go the first screen, there's a schedule posted. I didn't think of the GP until after the season began so you'll have to scroll down a bit. FYI UFC 89 and 90 are the last 2 events. The GP starts with WEC35 on Nov 5th. I have to find out who's going to show up for the GP out of the 12 ppl listed (and any newcomers) so we have actual matchups come the GP mmm k?
Yes, a grand prix is coming up soon. We are closing out this traditional points league and will be starting a head-to-head league. Welcome and thanks for posting!
there are not currently enough ppl to have match ups all the time. It's a standings league based on points earned ( I add the W/L results for a neat comparison and a tie breaker). At the end of Season 2, which is after UFC 90, there will be a Grand Prix where you face off vs other ppl to win the GP title. Then we will do season 3 and see if the league needs any tweaks etc. If we can get 20-25 ppl in the league on a consistent basis, then I would consider doing a vs format.. Of course my MS Excel skills will need a sever tweaking
The overall standings have been updated as of UFC 89. we have 1 event left which is UFC 90 this coming Saturday, then it's on to the Grand Prix where ppl will be matching up with one another. I will post a sign up thread for the Grand Prix and then rank ppl based on their standings. I want to make sure we have ppl matched up with others who plan on being active.
