Holy shit, there are other Bucs fans! I was pissed about Simeon Rice too. Gaines Adams isn't too bad though.
nothin against gaines but simeon did well for us... i mean he was ok for arizona but he stepped up for us big time... remember his game vs the eagles the year we won the SB? he was all over the place
You're talking about the playoff game (I think we played them twice that year)? He did do well, as did the whole defense. You kind of knew it was coming after Gaines being drafted though, as both him and Rice are right ends. I was just pissed to see Sapp go, he was the cornerstone of this defense and still played well in Oakland after leaving. At least with Rice, we let him go at the proper time. He didn't land a permanent job anywhere else after we cut him.
