He's going to be released from prison soon and physically he's still capable of being a productive player in the NFL.

Should he be reinstated and given a second chance?
Will he be on the Raiders roster?

    Discuss.

Yikes! Wouldn't that be a PR disaster? Only the Raiders could get away with it tho :)

If he can earn a spot on a roster, I don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to. I'd argue that Pacman and Chris Henry have been worse for the league, than Vick. Pacman belongs in a prison cell. To be honest, I was ok with Vick's punishment at first...but then I thought it was excessive after seeing Henry and Jones get numerous chances.

If Vick can make a roster, he deserves it. Despite his accuracy issues, he can still win you games because of his feet and his arm strength. Who knows, maybe they can convert him to a receiver or a kick returner?

Sure, if a team is willing to take him on.

He can't be worse than various backup QBs out there.

Just make him a running back/receiver. He's already proven he couldn't throw the ball in the ocean.

Problem with some people and Mike Vick, is their expectations. They want him to be something he is not. He won't complete a high % of passes, or be the ultimate QB everyone thought he could. But he's still a QB (not RB/WR OR KR) and be effective. Just accept him for who he is, surround him with capable WRs, solid backs, and you'll win games like he's done before.

As for a second chance, as much as I don't condone what he did, if the NFL clears him, then yeah, he should.

I'd rather Oakland doesn't sign him. Jamarcus Russell needs to continue to work his kinks out and he will be a fine QB.
