Fisher is Captain Obvious with those comments. PJax rarely practices defense the past few seasons. I think the defensive attitude has to start with Kobe. His teammates feed off him and if he sets the example they'll follow their team leader. I think Kobe would be willing to play the defensive stopper role like he did in the Olympics, but his teammates have to prove they can score consistently and not put the burden on Kobe to get them out of trouble. Bynum seems to be the player most willing to take the torch from Kobe and every player in the starting five is capable of dropping 20 on any given night.

Yeah our rotations are terrible and the weakside help is always late and doesn't anticipate well. It starts with these guys not getting in the proper defensive stance. Plus there isn't a lot of vocal chatter on the court.
