http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=ford_chad&page=TradeTalk-081015 Thoughts? Ideas? I'm kinda against Marion cause he will be looking for a big paycheck this summer. The Chicago mention at the end is the Hinrich trade talks we've heard. Don't know about the New Jersey, New York, Cleveland, and Orlando talks. I don't know if there is anyone on Cleveland that I want for Lamar except LeBron . Orlando wouldn't have anything we want outside of Rashard and Hedo, but I highly doubt that, and their contracts...ugh. New Jersey has young pieces and cap space to offer, but that is it. New York has nothing to offer in my opinion.
I think his attitude towards improving his game for the team has him in the dog-house. I for one am disappointed that when he has the chance of a injury free summer for improvement he shows up out of shape for camp.
A beat writer in Fresno, his name escapes right now was on the Dave Smith show the other day. He said Lamar Odom is the ONLY Laker player who didn't train this offseason and pick up the basketball. He also didn't travel with his teammates for a voluntary practice, and instead went to party in Las Vegas. This pissed PJax off and Odom's been in his doghouse all summer. All the comments PJax has been making about Odom being lost and out of shape were directly related to Odom's lackluster summer.
Look on the bright side... At least the other 12 or so players worked on their games this offseason. I'm not surprised by the news though. Anybody who expected Lamar to train in the offseason were definitely mistaken. I don't think he's worked on his game at all since his rookie year. His game now is the same as it was in his first year in the league.
