What do you do when you aren't posting here?

Graduated last month with an Honors Business degree from Oregon State. Currently unemployed. So lots of job applications, working out, learning Spanish and trying to catch up on my reading (currently Michael Pollan's Omnivore's Dilemma).

It'd help if I knew what I really wanted to do. Regardless, my degree concentrations were in MIS, Management and a minor in Communications. If you know of anything interesting, hook a brother up.

 

You should promote that at Universities. In the past I've known several students who didn't know what to do with their old machines. Also, the university tends to get rid of a lot of computers at wholesale auctions. Maybe they can just donate it to you instead (or if it doesn't sell the first time around).

If you know of ways to let people at Universities know about us and what we do, I would love to hear them. By the way, I don't know that I mentioned it in the other post, and it might not be extra incentive for Universities, but we do give receipts that can be used for tax write offs, since we are a nonprofit, by people who are interested in that sort of thing.

Oh, as for me, when I'm not on this site, my life is possessed by grad school. When I'm not entirely overrun with schoolwork, I'm probably reading (Dark Tower series at the moment), working (shitty desk jobs at PSU) or making some sort of art (digital photography and Flash 5 being my two favorite mediums.) Oh, and playing basketball whenever I can.

 

I read that. Fantastic series.

The best way is to partner with a fraternity. They have national presence. And that way people at universities can take their comp and donate it easily. Also, if the people who donate don't take the tax credit, the fraternity would and they would enjoy that as well as making it a philanthropy. Just a suggestion.

I work Mon-Fri (computer geek), hang out with\raise my kids, play basketball, watch sports on TV, work out a little bit, play video games (Counter Strike, NBA2K9, Madden), pimp hoes and slam cadillac doors.

 

I'm a Zoology student at North Dakota State. In the summers I volunteer at the Minnesota Zoo, answering stupid questions for the customers. "We saw the brown bears and now we want to see the grizzly bears?". I work out a lot, and watch MMA or basketball. I spend a lot of time with HCP's family when he isn't around. I like to look in the mirror a lot, mainly too put my hands in my shirt and make myself have boobs, just to see whta it looks like.

I try and read a lot too, but it's hard to do when classes are everywhere I turn. Oh yea, and when I'm at home I'm a huge fan of video games. Can't wait too go home otnight and try out FIFA 09.
