Feel sorry for the guy, he shoulda been a great addition to the Heat this year but the guy can't catch a break.
Looks like that was a good move on our part. Do you think KP had a feeling on this one... No, he isn't that good is he?
Nah I think it was all about money and needing to see Outlaw or Webster on the court this year in order to make an informed decision about the future of the SF position.
KP knows well enough to sell high, instead of waiting until the damage occurs and trying to offload a bad product. In this case, we simply didn't buy high, which was good. We have a good roster without him... it's exactly the roster we'd have if we'd signed him, too...
It's a shame, but kind of predictable. A lot of talent, but trouble staying on the court. I still wish him the best- he was a favorite Blazer of mine.
I assume that Jones will lose money since he is injured just like in the case of LaFrenz based on their contracts? Sounds like he is always having conditioning issues. Does he have a trainer for this? I like the guy too but obviously KP saw something in J.Jones that he saw as a potential risk and wasn't worth signing for the 2008-09 season. I am so happy that R.F. is the better overall player signing for our squad.
I think we just had better up and coming forwards, although his impact was pretty good. Being down both Jones and Marty would have been pretty sad. Censoring yourself on this board? tsk tsk
