If I'm defending Lebron I'm happy if he settles for the jumper. If I'm defending Kobe I'm nervous either way. Here's a funny video.
Well you named the best assisting PG's in the league...of course they are team players. Lebron is the best team player in terms of creating shots for others that isnt a PG.
Clearly, it's Devin Harris. In all seriousness though, I'd pick Kobe. He can shoot, he can drive, and he can defend.
Are we talking about Isos or a true 1 on 1? For a true 1 on 1, I'd take LeBron. If we're talking about isos, I'd take Kobe.
What? There's no such thing as true one on one in the NBA other than on a rare fast break. Even if someone beats their defender, they still have to beat the help that slides over (unless you're playing the Mavs!). Iso is the only one on one in the NBA, or when a play is run for you, which I don't consider to be one on one.
laughable. your other point is irrelevant. if no one can stop lebron from getting to the basket one on one, none of the other factors come into play and it doesn't matter. he's not going to shoot jumpers when no one can keep him out of the lane.
there is a video against the pistons that you might want to watch. do people here not actually watch basketball or something? because some of this shit is ridiculous.
That's you're opinion. Not really. You see, one player may not be able to keep him out of the lane, but a concerted team effort certainly can. That's what San Antonio did in the Finals and that's what Boston did this past year. If they can't stop him one on one (which there are people that can), then they surround him and swarm him and FORCE him to be a jump shooter, which is something he absolutely can't do.
One game does not equal clutch. Big frickin' whoop, he scored 20something straight points. Good for him. Too bad that alone does not make him clutch. Care to come up with other examples?

Agree. We shouldn't focus on a single game. Look at his stats over the entire season in clutch situations: http://82games.com/CSORT11.HTM
I have to agree, LeBron is not crappy in close situations just because of some series or game. His clutch stats are pretty decent too. Either way Kobe is the better one-on-one player to me, but I don't want to completely trash Bron's career.
