as far at what i saw from watching the game.... simmons, hassel, and swat... can not run the dribble drive offense... and our defense in the game was pretty sad... we were gettin lost and guys were gettin open with no problem... and making their open shots.

Yi's fouls were weak, that 1 charging vs powe... in the first quarter was a bad call... the other one where he tried to get out of the way was stupid....

Lopez is working hard to get position... and u can tell he needs to get stronger...

    VC is simply amazing

Devin looks lost... like hes hesistant...

CDR i love... hes a gamer... and i love him

Yes, Ryan is awesome, and pretty much like Boki.
The difference is having Najera! trust me, if we had Eduardo last season, Boki would not have been the first guy off the bench.
Najera can hit outside shots too, but he has great defense and hustle. Frank will not disregard that, and he shouldn't...

I agree with Netted's assessment and would add that refs are in preseason as well and so don't give much importance to Yi's fouls.

The game Sunday should show us a lot: Yi, Lopez and Williams will have to play big minutes upfront. With Anderson, Boone, Swift and Najera all out, who's left? Same to a certain extent in the backcourt: Carter won't play, Hayes is still out. CDR and Ager should get minutes. Note that when Hassell plays, Ager doesn't get a lot of minutes and vice versa. Sunday is Ager's chance to shine. CDR will be up against Pierce. That should be fun...not.

I am not going to dismiss Ager yet. I havent been impressed with Hassell. Ager can play some defense and shoot. His one game so far, he shot 4 for 5, including a three.

I agree with the idea of CDR playing some point. He played in high school, played a little in college and Frank has used him more in that big point guard position more than Hodge. Hodge's last chance is Sunday. Based on what I've seen, I don't see him making the team.

I know I'm going to get crap for this, but I'm kinda happy that Swift went down.
More time for our rooks is what we need.

We have to make a trade at some point, right? We have too many players on our team that won't get minutes but can provide value to other rotations.
