of course if you live in Canada and flipped past Roger Sportsnet, you'll have caught UFC 89 already as it was aired live on there.

if you did, or if you found the results online, please don't post any spoilers in here.

    thnx.

    and here we go.

Davis easily won that round, did better with the striking, a couple of nice kicks and got the take down and only lost his side mount because he got too aggressive trying to mount Taylor.

    I got Davis KO 2... get'er dun

    I'm with you Celtic.

Nice win by Davis. Took no damage and got the sub. Kelly just sort of fell into that choke the minute he changed levels to take him down.

Davis was too good on his feet, not many ppl are going to be able to strike with him at 170.

    Funny story about Marcus.

After one of his fights where he got rocked real bad, for two weeks after that fight he spelled his name Macus, just because he was hit so bad. Now because of his heavy Boston accent, everyone thought his name really was Macus, and that he wasn't spelling it wrong.

Next up should be Chris Lytle vs Paul Taylor.
Lytle should be too good for Taylor. Lytle loses to the top of the food chain 170 guys, but not middle guys.

MMA. I think it was in his fight where he got kicked hard and ended up submitting the guy, forget who. Paul Taylor maybe.

gawd I hope we see some undercard fights if more fights end early... and i'm thinking most of these shouldn't go the distance.

I didn't know Patrick Cote was training with Kenny Florian and Marcus Davis' camp.. surprising.

good for him, but it won't make an ounce of difference next week.

I'm thinking the Vera fight has the potential to go long. Other then that I don't see a lot of potential long boring fights.

They should just start making Silva fight two people at once, it would be more fair, not completely fair, but still more fair.
