this was the toughest fight for me to call. Both have been very inconsistent fighters of late. If Vera is aggressive he'll win it because both of Jardine's losses have been from aggressive fighters overwhelming him and not letting him get settled. I'm thinking Vera can do it.
Not the best fight, and I called it about it going the distance. I think Vera won, which is disappointing. I just don't like him. I find him boring.
he used to be more exciting, but since his loss to Tim Sylvia.... something about losing to Sylvia makes you a boring fighter.. just ask Andrei Arlovski.. it took him a long time to get back to his previous exciting ways

Leben and I are both from Portland, and I don't really care for Bisping, so on a personal level I'm going with Leben. But my brain is going with... wel actually Leben. But I won't be surprised at all if Bisping wins. The only way I'll be surprised if is Bispin flat out knocks him out
Bisping is picking him apart. Leben can land the big shot to win it, but otherwise this one's in the bag

With those 5 fights at the top of the card, I would never have predicted only 1 KO. Still, a pretty good night of free fights.
I honostly thought that fight was a draw if anything, that would have been such a hard fight to call. Jardine took the first round pretty easy after being the one coming close to stopping it, and taking Vera down right off the bat. The takedown, and almost winning the fight at the end of the round took the 1st for him. Vera most certainly took the second round, and had a good fight in the second. The third was hard, aside from Jardine pressing him up against the cage early, and getting two or three good shots, I really think the round was pretty so-so. Neither fighter did enough to win, I guess if you consider that Jardine was throwing bombs at the end to atleast try to win the fight, then I would lean towards Jardine also. Again though, it was way to close to call for me. I did find it interesting that Jardine came right out with the takedown, something we have never seen from Jardine in the past. It must say how much he respected Vera's standup ability, and reach for a guy that usually likes to stand to look for the takedown as much as he did. I thought Bisping/Leben was the classic brawler/technical striker matchup, and we seen just like with Florian/Huerta that technique wins out a majority of the time. The one with the precision punching(Bisping,) will just wear out the brawler and keep on getting him with the crisp clean blows. Great fight for Bisping, and you have to respect the damage that Leben took and just kept coming forward. Dude is tough as nails, and his arms looked ripped as hell out there. We did see a bit of Leben's wrestling ability out there though, when he took Bisping down in the third. With everyone knowing about his KO power, I think working his wrestling ability some in the future will make him that much more dangerous.
