Beasley will NOT get it because of his terrible defense. He might not even start lol.

Odd that Rudy seems the more NBA ready from what I've seen thus far of the 2007 picks.

Not a dig on Oden at all. He'll be a presence this season.

Rudy is a vet if you look at it right. He played SEVEN years of pro ball already! 7! That makes him a vet in my eyes. Greg will be fine. It will be on a dunk on opening night or maybe a block during the 33rd game, but it will click. He'll be like OK, this is how I do it. He is our future! 'Til then, Rudy is going to be a blast to watch!

It really is impressive how good Rudy is...

People compare him to Manu but he seems like a much different (not saying better) player. They are both Europeans though.

This season will be tight. I'm sooo sad Webster went down though, i wanted to see us at full strength. From the 1st pre-season game, i was super impressed with Webs... I would LOVE a Webster/Batum SF rotation... I think our roster is getting easier to trim down to 8 for the playoffs.

Its amazing how much I like Brandon Roy though... he is SO likeable. They couldn't have picked a better guy to send to the draft lottery in 07. He really is what makes this team go. The 2 games he has played so far were blowouts (for us).

    Hello darkness, my old friend
    Isn't Ginobili Argentinian?

I think Fernandez may be a superior player to Ginobili. In Fernandez, I see the ability to take over games from time to time with his scoring and passing. I think he has a chance to be close to Brandon Roy in ability.

Yeah you are right... I think back on BBF someone got that wrong before and said "well they are all the same" and it started an arguement...

anyway.. I don't think Fernandez is as good as Manu now, or even on his level, imo. But I think its possible in the future, as i think he is superior than Manu was at his age.

what i like about fernandez the most is that he is very effficient. Doesn't need lots of shots to score, does little things, etc. Only thing i don't like is TOs and somewhat his defense, which i think was overdone when ppl said that it was horrid.

I was a huge Rudy fan, and then i went far away from Rudy when his hype got unbearable during the olympics w/ comments saying he is our 2nd best player, that we should eventually trade Roy, etc... but now that its died down i can appreciate his game more... And it helps that he is playing for my team.

Yeah, I wasn't clear. I meant that I think Fernandez may be more talented and will be a superior player in his prime. Right now, Ginobili is definitely better.
