Nope, I'm pretty sure Rampage and his mother both agree with you. :drumroll:

Seriously, I'm not convinced Griffin won, but it was too close to call a robbery.

    Welcome to the site!

I scored the fight a draw, so I can see how people can go either way on that one. A rematch should be happening whether or not Griffin is able to get past Evans.

I think it was a close fight, but the fact that Griffin obviously hurt Rampage's leg and had him in trouble in the 2nd gave the fight to Forrest.

It could have gone either way though. Every time I doubt Forrest, he comes through.. much like Kenny Florian does.

I'd like to see Forrest vs Wand but I guess since they train together that'll never happen.

    wow Vera 2 lbs under!

and I wonder if Carwin is dropping weight to make 265... I'm thinking he'll be 275-280 come fight time.

Carwin vs Lesnar next year??? battle of 2 huge athletic monsters!

Five out of six undercard fights went to a third round. Pretty unusual.

I'm surprised to see David Baron lose. I guess maybe his win over Sakurai was a fluke?

I read the Hardy vs. Gono fight was dirty as hell. Hope I get to see that one tomorrow.

Shane Carwin, Mr. 5XL glove size, gets another first round TKO. Too bad he's so old.

Paul Kelly had a terrible game plan against Marcus Davis. I thought he was going to lay and pray. He tried to box him in the first round and spent his fuel.

Luis Cane is a bad ass. I figured he'd let Sokoudjou gas out and then finish him. Cane can take a lot of punishment and keep pressing forward like The Terminator.

Keith Jardine vs. Brandon Vera was a horrible leg kicking contest, as expected. Brandon Vera has no killer instinct. I was a big fan of his early work in the UFC but now he is just one disappointment after another. Prepare to be shocked when you see his paycheque for that outing.

Bisping vs. Leben was a bit predictable as well. Bisping has superior boxing. Leben showed more patience and stamina than we've seen from him in the past, but he reverted back to his old style too often. He should've tried to take him down sooner when he still had the energy to do so. I was surprised Bisping stood with him for the whole fight. His confidence must be enormous, but not big enough to ask for a title shot. I guess he wants to fight a former champ like Franklin or Henderson first.

Bispings' striking was crisp, but I didn't see a lot of power in it. He never really had leben in trouble, just knicked up a bit.

I just do not understand why Bisping is so popular. I don't like his fighting style and I have never been impressed by him in any of his (competitive) fights.

I also thought this fight was much closer than it was portrayed on the show. If you watch it without listening to the crowd and Goldberg and Rogan licking Bisping's balls, you'll notice a lot of long stretches where Bisping does nothing but run away from Leben and pepper him with weak jabs. Even though Leben was lunging, a lot of his awkward punches were harder than those "brutal" counterpunches Bisping was throwing.

Leben's leg kicks in the first round were very good. It was a close round. If his face didn't get busted up he might have won it. Leben had a takedown in the third and definitely won the first three minutes. I think one of the judges gave him this round.

I had Bisping winning 29-28, but I definitely didn't see the fight as the blowout everyone seemed to think it was. Congrats to Leben who was more focused and in shape than anyone could have expected from him given his past. I hope this new "grown up" Leben is here to stay.

I mostly saw Leben lunging after Bisping and getting peppered with shots.. hard shots, no, but he was getting hit and not doing most of the hitting.

Very entertaining fight between Bisping and Leben, but I wish it went another two rounds. Neither fighter seemed to find their rhythm until late in the 2nd round and at the end of the fight both seemed content on slugging it out. Bisping showed professional discipline in this fight and picked Leben apart with his jabs and straight punches down the middle.

I respect this version of Leben. I still think the count is overrated.
