What do you think will be the biggest obstacle the Nets face this season?

That fact that most the other teams are better then them.

That and I see their frontcourt getting abused.

Everything, but what do you expect. We'r re-buiding and we'r relying on 3 rookies and a Soph who didnt play too much last season to be major contributors. Aside from that the majority of our team is completely new, running a different Off. I expect us to be pretty bad in terms of wins and losses but the key is to see if we have any promise in our young guys which i think we do.

Being consistent and not getting blown out day in and day out.

By being consistent, i don't mean consistent at losing or even winning, but to have the same mindset and to be the same team for every game.

Frank trying to win games, instead of developing talent. I'd like to see if he has changed his mentality from the previous years as his tenure on the team as the head coach.

On the fans side it'sthe Expectations on the youngest team in the nba. what you should be looking for is strictly player development is there a month to month improvement on the rooks and second year players.

On the team side it's CHEMISTRY we are bringing in 8 new players on a 12 man team. simmons, dooling, najera, hayes the vets and cdr,yi,anderson and lopez the young bucks. starting a new offensive scheme a 8 new players spells disaster.

but i'm not fooling myself this team is built for a run starting in 2010 with a big free agent acquisition and team chemistry being developed.

    There will be a lot.

Vince Carter being the leader of a young team. Will he quit on a young, bad team like he did with Toronto? Or has he rally matured and is willing to step up and play with the energy and passion he played with last season when Jason Kidd got traded. Personally, I am expecting one of his best seasons ever. The team might not be great, and might miss the playoffs, but Vince will show all the critics that he is more mature now and will be a good leader for this young team.

Devin Harris running the point. He is a good scorer and passer, but which kind of point guard will he ultimately turn out to be in the end? He ran the point well for the Mavericks, and this season many of us and even experts are expecting him to have a breakout season and win the most improved player award. Will be take over the role of leader if Carter doesn't show up? This will be perhaps the biggest for us.

And another huge one, who will step up as the third option? Moore is gone, Kidd is gone, Jefferson is gone, and even Krstic and Nachbar left. All the primary offensive weapons for this team for the past couple of season will not be wearing a Nets jersey this season. Vince and Harris are already the obvious first two options, but who will step up as the third? Yi, Sean, Boone, Simmons, the rookie CDR or an unexpected player?

This season will be a big test for the team, I'm hoping we play well and somehow make the playoffs if the team plays good enough and answers all these questions and comes through, past the obstacles.

Having their fans realize that rebuilding is a process, despite the fact that Ratner/Thorn/Frank wants them to make the playoffs.

This actually worries me the most. I cannot realisticlly see how anybody can expect our team to be ready this season. However with Frank you know that he's fully prepared to play his Vets the second one of our young guys messes up.

This worries me with all these young players, Frank does not have a good history of developing young talents and im a little worried that he's going to completely mess with their confidence turning them into Antoine Wright 2.0 who was afraid to take shots, afraid to make mistakes instead of just playing basketball.

Well i don't think that any of our management expects to make the playoffs. Thorn has said that we're in a rebuilding process but we'll see how it goes.
