Didn't he say he was feeling good when he had his first homecourt advantage in the playoffs? But anyways, I feel good about the season as well. Hopefully, we stay injury-free throughout the season.

Without injuries to the "Big 3", i think the Rockets will make it past the 1st round (Hope i didn't jinx them :bicycle:)

That's kind of a meaningless, throw-away quote from T-Mac. He pretty much says something like that every year "This is the first time I really think we have a chance to do something ..." Whatever.

Its a throwaway quote that all stars say...
    :D

If we stay injury free, I have us at #2 in the league, we are always one of THE TOP defensive teams, and now we have the scoring we need.

I don't think anything that comes out of Tmac's mouth should never be written, heard, nor taken into any kinds of consideration. He was an incredible player back in the day, but damn I wish he would just shut up. I thought he would learn something after making such an asinine comment about how good it feels being in the second round when The Magic were up 3-0 (or was it 2-0) in the series against Detroit. Then a few seasons ago he claimed he'll turn Slowmile into an Allstar. And who could forget the infamous "it's on me" comment? What an airhead. The guy just never learns.

Also I don't think Houston will ever be injury-free as long as Yao and Tmac are leading the squad. We just have to build a team that could make the playoffs without depending too much on them and wish they'd be around for the playoffs, when it actually matters.

This time, he might actually be right, we have a really really deep roster. Luis Scola and Yao are one hell of a 5-4 combo. I'm expecting Scola to average close to 14 points and 7 boards, Ron Artest is what we've been missing...and who knows, maybe Stevie can give us some glimpses of when he was the "Franchise". I still have faith in SF3, I don't see why he cant put up close to 10 points a game and give us 4-5 assists with the number of offensive options we have.

    ^^^francis will most likely

    a.) not see playing time
b.) be injured because of those beat up knees

It's true that this is the most talent that we've had in a while, but everyone on this board, friends of mine who are red rowdies, and the avg. rocket fan has told me they are tired of the "tmac rhetoric" before each season of how "this is the best group of guys I've had around me."....................the guy needs a PR coach in the worst way...........
