Deng is easily better, he plays in lesser minutes and puts up better rebounds/assists/and scoring, while being a much more physical defender, even though both are very good defensively.
I guess it all depends on your offensive set. Andre Igoudala is so good on the break, and cannot be stopped in the open floor. Deng however is a guy that is much better off in a slow, half court offensive set. I like Deng more, but I think this one is a toss up.

The Bulls don't have a 30+ppg Iverson or a 20+ppg Webber on their team. Deng averages only 2 more points on a team who's highest scorer averages only 16 points per game (Ben Gordon).Iguodala is a better one on one defender and can shut down players like Bryant and James. I would like to see Deng do that. Andre also is a much more athletic player. Call me another Sixers fan, but on my squad I'd have Andre on my team over Deng any day.
Excellent comparison, youve got me stumped on this one, I cant pick a clear cut winner here, these guys are both extremelly talented young players who have shown alot of promise. I personally would have to say Iggy because I have seen more of him in terms of watching games and I like his style of play and willingness to attack the basket, and when he gets there, throw it down. I like both of them, however, and they are both excellent young players who appear to have very promising careers ahead of them..
This is something where at the current time, they both are about the same player (young, athletic threes who can give a a team about 12-15 a night). With that being said, I would have to take Igs over Deng, like I would have when they came out, because AI has a much higher ceiling then Luol, plus AI is a much better on ball defender and Deng is not consistent (story of the Bulls for that matter).
I will say Deng. He seems to be more versatile scoring wise. He is the better rebounder and is still only 20. Both are good defenders but I'll go wih Iggy on that one. Deng has the better jumper. Andre is working on that but it goes to Deng right now. Deng is the better scorer. So that's who I'll go with.

The thing people fail to realize is that Iguodala is not a small forward. He plays in the backcourt with Iverson. He is even listed simply as "G". Deng may have the numbers statistically, but keep in mind he does have three inches on Andre.I don't even care about rebounding. I am pleased a shooting guard is averaging almost 6 a game. That's impressive. Iguodala isn't even expected to be rebounding that well.
Deng is a great all-around player, and he is one of those pieces of the puzzle you need on a team in order to win a ring. But as far as potential goes, Iggy gets this one.
