I think people are trying to be too literal in the definitions here. Racism, racist, stereotypes...who gives a shit which word is used? Anything can be funny.....IF some white wannabe gangster kid got beat down by three big black cops I would laugh my ass off. I mean if I really saw that on the street I would die laughing even though it is wrong. But I would really want it to happen. If you don't find that funny, that is your personal preference. I don't find Dane Cook funny and he is rich as hell.
A priest, a rabbi, and a minister walk into a bar. The bartender looks up and says, "this must be some kind of joke!"
Lady & The Tramp. The Italians run an Italian restaurant. "Ohh....hey, Luigi, get-a out here!" "Well, lookee here. Butch-a gotta new girlfriend!" "She's a cocker-a-spanish-a-girl!"
Anyone else recall that Polish jokes started after the entire Polish officer corps was annihilated by the German panzers in 1939? Hitler's dudes rolled in on modern, just-off-the-factory-floor panzers. The Poles had men on horses with swords. They charged anyway, defending their homeland. They died anyway, since armor built to withstand tanks rounds isn't really hurt by cavalry sabres. But since many consider this act of heroic sacrifice against all odds as foolishly stupid, generations have been brought up on the stupidity of the Pole. And no, I'm not Polish. But I am as cracker as it gets. More stories to follow.
It's important that people see the difference between mobsters and sterotypes. For instance, it'd be unfair to hate on all white people, but I'd be understandable to hate on all those in-born people from Oregon who enjoy inbreeding and prove their worth through simple animal hunting and other typical white-simple-poor-grim-activities.
