I watched this game last night, and I'd be lying if I said that it didn't look bad. He landed on that really awkwardly and had to get helped off the court. He was putting no pressure on it at all. He then proceeded to get taken to the locker room in a wheel chair. For Utah's sake, hopefully he's ok, because they can't afford to miss time in the regular season.
Yeah it was a nasty, nasty sprain. Here's the video of it on ESPN. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=281018004
As a Blazer fan, I hope he is OK. I think Utah is favored to win the NW and will be the Blazers biggest competition. I'm upset that the Blazers couldn't get Deron Williams or anyone in his caliber. I believe a Williams type player is what separates the Blazers from Utah right now . . . and even with all that I'm hoping Deron is 100% by regular season. I look forward to the battles these teams will have in the years to come.
