Hawks Won't Rush Williams

Marvin Williams had a huge wrap on his left hand during Saturday's game, leading witnesses to wonder if there was something worse with the sprained thumb than initially thought.
He calmed those fears after the game. "It was just icing it then," Williams said. "I'm straight, though. I'm just going to see how it feels [this morning] and then decide when I'm going to play again."

Williams didn't rule out making a return appearance against the Magic, but Mike Woodson was a bit more cautious. "We'll see how he feels after shootaround and then go from there," he said. "We're not going to rush him, though. There's no need for that."
